Organic chemistry is unique in combining a number of great tools to bring you the best in multimedia. The first is Macromedia Flash which drives the animation you see across the internet - such as the buttons you see on web pages. Next comes MDL Chime, an industry standard add-on which displays molecular models like these:

The examples above are static, but the 'real models' have a good amount of information to add to chemistry. For instance, when you teach about 'cis and trans' you can use a 'sculpt' feature to rotate single bonds but not double bonds. Or when you compare benzene with phenol you can gain a picture of electron density. Whether you have known this for ages, we've included the instructions you need when you need them. If you've not used 'Chime' much before, you can take heart that ACTT offers convenient access to the models you need when you need them. Also, as explained in 'topics', we've built in a feature that lets you add in your own model collection and build them into the menu, seamlessly.
